Celtics Win, Garnett Ejected

Kevin Garnett helped lead the Celtics to a Game 1 win over the Heat, 85-76, but he may not be able to play in Game 2.

Garnett was ejected during a scuffle with 40 seconds remaining in the fourth quarter. Paul Pierce appeared to have injured his shoulder and Garnett was near the Miami bench checking on him. Garnett said Quentin Richardson was "talking nonsense" to Pierce. Garnett elbowed Richardson, causing tempers to flare, leaving coaches and officials to break up the fight.

The incident marred a comeback win the Celtics, who trailed by 14 points in the third quarter. Garnett could be face a suspension for Game 2 of the best-of-7 series, which is Tuesday night in Boston.
