Celtics Suspend Forward Jared Sullinger For One Game
BOSTON (CBS) - The Boston Celtics have suspended forward Jared Sullinger for one game, the team announced on Tuesday.
Sullinger was charged with assault and battery, destruction of property and witness intimidation in September after an altercation with his girlfriend on August 31 in Waltham, but the case was dismissed on Monday.
Still, the Celtics feel Sullinger deserves the suspension for failing to meet the high standards of the team.
