The Boston Celtics Sign Delonte West
The Boston Celtics have confirmed they will sign free agent Delonte West to a one year deal, likely for the veteran's minimum. West played for the Cleveland Cavaliers last season, and played three years in Boston before being traded to Seattle in a deal that brought Ray Allen to Boston. The 6-4 shooting guard out of St. Joseph's University has averaged 10 points and 3.7 assists over his career. He will have to sit out for the first 10 games of next year's regular season after being suspended by the NBA for pleading guilty to gun charges in Maryland earlier this year.
