Celtics' Rondo Named To All-NBA Third Team
BOSTON (CBS) - The All-NBA teams were announced on Thursday, with Boston Celtics point guard Rajon Rondo landing on the All-NBA third team.
Rondo averaged 11.9 points and a career-high 11.7 assists per game this season, en route to making his first All-NBA team. Rondo, along with teammate Kevin Garnett, was named to the All-NBA defensive second team on Wednesday.
The teams, voted on by a panel of 120 sportswriters and broadcasters, are as follows:
All-NBA First Team

F - Kevin Durant, Oklahoma City
C - Dwight Howard, Orlando
G - Kobe Bryant, Los Angeles Lakers
G - Chris Paul, Los Angeles Clippers
All-NBA Second Team
F - Kevin Love, Minnesota
F -Blake Griffin, Los Angeles Clippers
C - Andrew Bynum, Los Angeles Lakers
G - Tony Parker, San Antonio
G - Russell Westbrook, Oklahoma City
All-NBA Third Team
F - Carmelo Anthony, New York
F - Dirk Nowitzki, Dallas
C - Tyson Chandler, New York
G - Dwayne Wade, Miami
G - Rajon Rondo, Boston
Rondo earned a total of 142 points, including four first-team votes. His Celtics' teammates Paul Pierce (31 points) and Garnett (22) also received votes.
