Celtics Roll Past Blazers
The Boston Celtics won their third straight game, beating the Portland Trail Blazers Friday night, 96-76.
Ray Allen led Boston with 21 points. Kevin Garnett added 16 points and 7 rebounds in 22 minutes of action.
Paul Pierce was limited to just 26 minutes and 9 points. Pierce played despite a sprained right thumb that was acting up before the game.
The newly acquired Nate Robinson did not play, as he recovers from the flu. Robinson is expected to make his Celtics debut Tuesday night at home against his former team, the Knicks.
The Celtics will wrap up their west coast road trip Sunday afternoon against the Denver Nuggets.
