Celtics Preseason Schedule: Nets Come To Town In Finale
BOSTON (CBS) - The big news when the Boston Celtics' 2013-14 season schedule was released on Tuesday night was Paul Pierce and Kevin Garnett's first return to the TD Garden as members of the Brooklyn Nets.
That is slated for January 26, but it turns out "The Truth" and "Big Ticket" could be in Boston much earlier than that.

The Celtics released their eight-game preseason schedule, with the Nets coming to town in the C's preseason finale on October 23.
Being the veterans they are, chances are Pierce and Garnett won't be taking part in the game -- and may not even travel.
But if you want to catch the Celtics in the preseason, that game is one of your only options at the TD Garden. Boston will only play two of their eight preseason games at the Garden -- the first and last games of the preseason -- with their other "home games" slated to take place around New England.
Here is the full Celtics preseason schedule (tickets go on sale on September 5):
Oct. 7 - vs. Toronto Raptors at 7:30 p.m.
Oct. 9 - vs. New York Knicks (@ Dunkin Donuts Center, Providence, RI) at 7:30 p.m.
Oct. 11 - vs. Philadelphia 76ers (@ Bob Carpenter Center, Newark, DE) at 7:00 p.m.
Oct. 12 - vs. New York Knicks (@ Verizon Wireless Arena, Manchester, NH) at 7:30 p.m.
Oct. 15 - @ Brooklyn Nets at 7:30 p.m.
Oct. 16 - @ Toronto Raptors at 7:00 p.m.
Oct. 20 - vs. Minnesota Timberwolves (@ Bell Centre, Montreal, QC) at 6:00 p.m.
Oct. 23 - vs. Brooklyn Nets at 7:00 p.m.
The Celtics regular season begins October 30 against the Raptors in Toronto.
