Celtics Hold Off Knicks Without Pierce
The Boston Celtics are now 4-1 since the all-star break after beating the New York Knicks, 110-106 at TD Garden last night. The green overcame 28 points and 15 rebounds from David Lee by getting 24 points from Ray Allen, 16 from Kevin Garnett and 15 from Rajon Rondo. They'll play Cleveland at the Garden tomorrow night. Nate Robinson scored 4 points for the green in his debut, while Eddie House scored 4 against the Celtics in his return.
Paul Pierce missed last night's game with both a sprained thumb AND a case of the flu. He is listed as day-to-day.
