Garnett Fined $25K For Not Talking After Game 7
BOSTON (CBS) - The NBA fined Celtics center Kevin Garnett $25,ooo on Wednesday, but it wasn't for anything he said.
In fact, it was for what he didn't say, which is anything at all.
Garnett was fined for failing to make himself available to reporters following Celtics' loss in Game 7 of the Eastern Conference Finals in Miami over the weekend.
Set to become a free agent after the conclusion of the NBA Finals, Garnett has left many wondering about his future by not talking. There is a strong feeling that Garnett could retire after a 17-year career.

Garnett has also received criticism for leaving the floor before the conclusion of Game 7 with point guard Rajon Rondo.
The 36-year-old Garnett averaged 15.8 points and 8.2 rebounds per game during the regular season for the Celtics, boosting those numbers up to 19.3 points and 10.2 rebounds per game during the playoffs.
