Celtics Could Be Without Green, Wilcox Friday Night vs. Blazers
BOSTON (CBS) - The Boston Celtics may find themselves very shorthanded Friday night when they host the Portland Trail Blazers at the Garden.
Already without point guard Rajon Rondo for the next two games, the Celtics could be without both Jeff Green and Chris Wilcox for Friday night.
Green told reporters Friday morning he would be a game-time decision thanks to a right knee injury.

It doesn't sound like it is anything too serious with Green, as he did return to the floor Wednesday following the injury, and his absence from Friday night's game would be more of the Celtics taking a cautious approach with the forward than a major injury concern.
Should Green not be able to go, the Celtics recalled rookie forward Kris Joseph from the D-Leauge. In two games with the Maine Red Claws, Joseph averaged 25.5 points on 36-percent shooting.

Wilcox left Wednesday's loss to the Nets due to an illness. The reserve big-man was not on the floor for Boston's morning shoot around on Friday.
