Celtics At 7: Are Teammates Rolling Their Eyes At Gerald Wallace?
BOSTON (CBS) - Following the Celtics 31-point loss to the Denver Nuggets on Tuesday night, Gerald Wallace once again called out his teammates.
"Right now this team is all talk," said Wallace. "When them lights come on, when it really counts, when it is about the team and making the team better and winning as a team, we don't do it."

Wallace has been doing this since the preseason, when his go-to was blasting the team for a lack of effort. The 12-year veteran is only averaging 4.1 points per game and lost his spot in the starting lineup just a few games into the season. On Wednesday night's edition of "Celtics At 7," 98.5 The Sports Hub's Adam Jones and Rich Keefe wonder how long it will take Wallace's teammates to tune him out, if they haven't already.
"I wonder how many people and how quickly they roll their eyes when they hear the human didgeridoo droning on at his stall to reporters or see the quotes the next day," asked Jones. "I wonder if, especially some of the younger guys, are saying take your five points per game and concentrate on playing better instead of calling everyone out."
"It's a thing where it's more about the messenger than the message," said Keefe. "That's why not everyone can be a captain or a leader. If Kevin Garnett or Paul Pierce were saying this stuff, the other guys would clearly be listening. But Wallace, who has struggled all season long, he was in the starting lineup but got benched, who has the worst contract on the team and one of the worst contracts in the league, is he the self-appointed leader?
"I don't know if other players look up to him. As far as what he does for them on the court, I have a hard time imagining him being a leader. I feel like he's taking this one his own," said Keefe. "I don't know how many people are listening to him."
Jones and Keefe also discussed if the Celtics should rest Jared Sullinger, who is playing well despite battling a hand injury:
