Celtics' Allen Set To Return Against Knicks
BOSTON (CBS) – Ray Allen will return to the floor Tuesday night when the Boston Celtics take on the Knicks in New York.
The Celtics' guard missed the last four games with lingering ankle issues, but head coach Doc Rivers told reporters in New York that Allen will have no restrictions when the C's close out their season series against the Knicks.

Allen missed six games last month with the injury, returning to play in five games (four off the bench) when the calendar turned to April. But the swelling returned, and Allen had to sit as the team entered a tough stretch with the season winding down.
Avery Bradley has filled in nicely for Allen, even claiming his spot in Boston's starting five.
In 46 games this season, 42 of them starts, Allen has averaged 14.2 points while shooting 46-percent from the field, and 45-percent from beyond the arc.

His return, if he can stay healthy, will give the Celtics' bench a big boost offensively. With a healthy Allen and Mickael Pietrus, the Celtics are starting to get their depth back as the playoffs approach.
Boston has five games remaining until the postseason, four of them against playoff teams.
