Allen (Ankle), Pietrus (Knee) Undergo Surgery
BOSTON (CBS) - Ray Allen and Mickael Pietrus both underwent successful surgeries at New England Baptist Hospital Wednesday morning, the Boston Celtics announced.
Both surgeries were completed by Celtics Team Physician Dr. Brian McKeon and were assisted by Dr. Mark Slovenkai, the team announced in a release.

Allen had successful arthroscopic surgery on his right ankle to remove bone spurs, which bothered him for most of the second half of the season. Allen averaged 14.2 points while shooting 45-percent from three-point range during the regular season. He averaged 10.7 points over 18 playoff games.
Pietrus underwent successful arthroscopic surgery on his right knee. Pietrus played 20 games off the bench for the C's this postseason, averaging 3.7 points per game on 33-percent shooting.

Both are scheduled to become free agents on July 1.
