Celebrate Dominican Independence Day

One of the most thriving communities in the city of Boston is the Dominican community. They have created a space for themselves where they've become an important part of Boston and America, while maintaining their culture and traditions very alive!  On Thursday February 27^th, Dominicans here and all over the world will be celebrating the 170^th Anniversary of Dominican Republic's independence. On this edition of "Centro", we tell you about some of the events that are taking place, commemorating this special day. WBZ's Yadires Nova-Salcedo talks with Juan Valerio, from FUNDOARCU, a non-profit organization which preserves Dominican art, culture and traditions. Tune in!
