Catherine Greig To Seek Bail In Court On Monday
BOSTON (CBS) - The focus of the Whitey Bulger case will switch on Monday from the alleged mobster to his girlfriend, as Catherine Greig is due in federal court.
Greig will forever be linked to Bulger, but their federal cases are very different and her attorney wants them treated as such.
Attorney Kevin Reddington represents Catherine Greig and is expected to ask the court to give her bail and allow her to stay in home confinement. While Grieg still owns a home in Quincy, a court memorandum says if granted bail, Greig would stay with her sister in South Boston and would agree to an electronic monitoring bracelet.

While Bulger is charged in 19 murders, Greig is only charged with harboring a fugitive, which has a maximum sentence of 5 years.
