Bridgewater Football Players Rescue Cat From Sewage Pipe
BRIDGEWATER (CBS) -- Two high school football players are MVPs this week--but their heroics happened off the field.
George Lampros and Max Sergio, two Bridgewater teammates, heard a cat screeching from a sewage pipe and decided to do something about it.
They grabbed a crow bar, and pried the drain cover off.
In the video above, the two can be seen using a bucket and some string to fish the cat out to safety.
Their coach couldn't be prouder, telling the rest of the team Tuesday that Lampros and Sergio are his "most valuable people."
