Carver Man Arrested In Stabbing Of Two People
CARVER (CBS) -- A Carver man has been arrested in the stabbing of another man and a woman Sunday morning on Center Street in Carver.
Albert Shimkus, 24, is charged with attempted murder and assault and battery with a dangerous weapon.
Police say Shimkus got into a fight with the male victim inside a home on Center Street and the fight moved outside and across the street to the yard of another home.
Officer said Sunday the woman suffered non-life threatening wounds. The male victim is listed in critical condition at Boston Medical Center. Neither of their names are being released.
Shimkus was found Monday morning in his home and taken into custody there. He is being held without bail at the Plymouth County House of Correction.
