Cars, Mailboxes Smashed Up During Vandalism Spree In Grafton

GRAFTON (CBS) – A wave of vandalism in Grafton this weekend left several cars and mailboxes damaged.

Officers report that on Friday night into Saturday morning, several cars were damaged in the Main Street and Salisbury Street areas.

There were also a number of mailboxes on Old Westboro Road and Estabrook Road that were smashed.

Saturday night into Sunday morning, a number of cars on Main Street, Elmwood Street and Saunders Drive were damaged.

Police say someone threw bricks through the car windows, and egged the vehicles as well.

Investigators say they have several suspects in the mailbox vandalism incidents.

They have not indicated whether they believe the other incidents to be related.
