Car Crashes On 128 In Dedham After Wrong Turn In Construction Zone
DEDHAM (CBS) – A 57-year-old man was injured in a crash in Dedham Friday morning after State Police say he left Route 128 and drove down a blocked off lane in a construction zone.
State Police say a driver heading northbound entered an unpaved access road just after Exit 15.
The driver apparently went left of a barrier onto the off-limits roadway in the construction area.
At some point right before Exit 17, police say the car wound up get stuck on a jersey barrier and going over it.
The driver was taken to Beth Israel Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.
State Police are looking into the possibility of a medical issue as the cause of the crash.
