Canseco On Toucher & Rich: Better Chance At Winning Lottery Than Majors
Jose Canseco joined 98.5 The Sports Hub's Toucher & Rich back in April to announce he had signed a deal with the Worcester Tornadoes of the CanAm League. The team will officially announce the deal on Monday, so Canseco joined T&R once again, and is excited to be playing ball again.
"When I played for the Boston Red Sox I actually came into Worcester a few times to play golf, but really didn't get to spend a lot of time in town. So I spent some time in town last night and I like Worcester, it's a great place," said Canseco.

The guys discussed tweets that Canseco has put on his Twitter account about wanting to play in the Majors again. They asked the 47-year-old Canseco whether he really believes that he could be a Major League player again.
"Oh absolutely not," he said. "I tweeted this a million times, I have a better chance of winning the lottery than getting back to the Majors of course."
Sticking with things Canseco has put out for the world to see on Twitter, Rich brought up one about the MLB All-Star game. Canseco asked fans to help vote him into a game that only current MLB players can play in, but said that most of his Tweets are just a big joke.
"A lot of the things on Twitter, it's entertainment," he said. "It's having a lot of fun with the fans and interacting with the actual fans. A lot of it is joking around."
The guys moved on to discuss Canseco's participation in the 100th Anniversary Celebration of Fenway Park back in April. During the celebration, players walked in from the outfield and to take the positions they once played for Boston. When Jose came out, he took it all in with his camera phone.
"I was videotaping the actual event. I was recording the fans, the sounds, the ballpark so I can actually keep that," he said.
