Cameron to DL
The Boston Globe is reporting that the Red Sox have placed center-fielder Mike Cameron on the disabled list with an abdominal tear. Outfielder Josh Reddick will be called up from Pawtucket.
Cameron missed one game last week in Minnesota after passing a kidney stone and then sat out again yesterday, during amn 8-2 loss to Tampa Bay with what was then described as lower abdominal pain. He is hitting .233 in 11 games so far this season, his first, with the Red Sox.
