Cambridge Police Look For Suspects In Shooting Murder
CAMBRIDGE (CBS) – Cambridge police were looking for suspects Saturday in an early morning murder.
Just after midnight, officers say two men were shot at the intersection of Watson and Brookline Streets.
The victims initially drove away from the scene. They were able to flag down a fire truck and firemen alerted police and rescue personnel.
The two victims were transported to area hospitals.
One of the victims, 30-year-old Cambridge resident James Lauture died.
The second person who suffered gunshot wounds is expected to survive.
Middlesex District Attorney Gerry Leone's office says that while no arrests have been made, authorities do not believe the shootings were random.
