Callahan Tunnel Closing Overnight For Repair Of Broken Manhole Cover
BOSTON (CBS) -- The Callahan Tunnel will close from 11 p.m. Sunday night until about 5 a.m. Monday morning to allow workers to repair a broken manhole cover, the Massachusetts Department of Transportation reported.
A right lane in the tunnel was closed during the day on Sunday because of the broken manhole cover.
Repair of the manhole cover should be complete before Boston's Monday morning commute heats up, according to DOT.
