Buyers lining up for Filene's
It's not the running of the brides, but they are lining up for a chance to buy the remnants of the Filene's building in downtown Boston.
A number of what the Boston Globe calls 'major players' are lining up. The paper reports a lot of interest in the site since it went up on the block two weeks ago. A Texas based developer notes that with rental demand high and construction costs low, it's a perfect time to develop the location.
