Bulger's Attorney: Reviewing Evidence A "Herculean Task"
BOSTON (CBS) - The trial of alleged mobster James Whitey Bulger will remain on November 5th, at least for now. A federal judge decided to stick with the date while attorneys for both sides sort through what's been described as a "landfill" of evidence.

Bulger's attorney J.W. Carney argued there are over half a million pages of documents against his client, while prosecutors said there are only about 300,000.
Carney told reporters that unlike the prosecution, he had a paralegal count them. He says, "She stopped counting at 491,000."
He calls a review of this amount of evidence a "Herculean task."
"If we can be ready for trial we will be," he says. "If we can't we'll still report to the court."
When asked if he believes Bulger's convicted girlfriend, Catherine Greig, would be called to testify against his client, Carney said, "no comment."
