BU Grad Student Killed In Boston Marathon Bombing
BOSTON (CBS) – A Boston University graduate student was killed when bombs exploded near the finish line of the Boston Marathon on Monday, the school reported. The student's name has not been released.
The student who died was one of three friends who were watching the race on Boylston Street. Another grad student was injured and is in stable condition at Boston Medical Center.
Three people died and over 170 others were injured in the two explosions Monday afternoon. Martin Richard, an 8-year-old boy from Dorchester and Krystle Campbell, a 29-year-old woman from Medford were also killed.
