B's Determination Must Best Habs' Desperation In Game 6
BOSTON (CBS) – The Boston Bruins want to end their series against the Montreal Canadiens Tuesday night, and are not even thinking about a possible Game 7 in Boston.
"You can't give hope or life to a team," Patrice Bergeron said. "In the series it's about making sure you can finish."
Even though they own a 3-2 series lead, the Bruins are taking Tuesday night's Game 6 as a must win, much like the Canadiens.
"It's desperation time for them as it is for us too," forward Gregory Campbell said. "You never want to play with fire and give them another opportunity in Game 7. I think we'll see their best, on the flip side of that we have to be our best as well."
Bruins Talk Desperation Before Game 6
"They are playing for their lives," head coach Claude Julien said. "You have to play that game with determination and that's the difference. For us it's about determination, for them it's about desperation and you have to hope that the determination is better than their desperation. It's as simple as that."

"If you want to win, you have to exceed and play better than the other team," said Bergeron. "That's the way you have to go with the attitude and the approach. The fourth game is the toughest; being desperate is one of the things you need to do."

Winning at the Bell Centre proved to be difficult for the Bruins in the regular season, but they took Games 3 and 4 to get back into the series. Now the B's have a chance to end it in front of the Montreal fans, but they know it won't be easy.
"They're going to come out extremely hard, and we have to be ready for it," defenseman Johnny Boychuck said. "The toughest game to win is that fourth game. We have to be ready for a battle."
