Thornton's Marriage OK After 'Greatest Day Of Life' Comment
CHICAGO (CBS) - Shawn Thornton may feel that the two nights he lifted the Stanley Cup over his head are better than his wedding day, but the Bruins forward is assuring everyone things are a-OK with him and his wife, Erin.
WBZ-TV's Dan Roche, who originally asked Thornton if his wife would be OK with his proclamation back on Monday, caught up with Thornton at media day in Chicago on Wednesday, and was at it again.
After Thornton talked about how special it was to have his name on the Cup twice, Roche asked again if that was the greatest day of his life.

"You again, huh?" Thornton replied. "Trying to get me in trouble again?"
"By the way, you didn't get me in trouble," Thornton clarified.
But he did see Rochie doing his best damage control on Monday's 6 p.m. newscast.
"YOU almost got in trouble just for talking about it though -- I saw your newscast. 'I love you,'" he said, mimicking Roche's message from Monday.

The two enjoyed another good laugh as Roche asked Thornton "are you done?"
"Not yet. Not really," Thornton said with a chuckle.
