Bruins Still Confident Despite 1-0 Series Hole
BOSTON (CBS) - The Boston Bruins are still a confident bunch despite dropping their playoff opener 2-0 to the Montreal Canadiens Thursday night.
"It's a seven-game series, not a one-game series," rookie Brad Marchand said after the Bruins practiced Friday. "They're not going to win it in the first game. We're not frustrated, it's one game. It's behind us and we have to move on to the next one."

"It's playoff hockey. Sometimes it goes the way you want, sometimes it doesn't," forward Shawn Thornton said. "We'll come back and play tomorrow."
The Bruins took 31 shots at Montreal goaltender Carey Price, but none of them found the back of the net.
"The opportunities were there we just didn't capitalize," Thornton said. "It easily could have went the either way. There were a lot of things we did well last night. There were a few chances we miffed on, if those go in were having different conversations today."

"Although we played a decent game we can all be a little better. That's basically it and that's to a man," Coach Claude Julien said.
The Bruins not only lost the game, but home-ice advantage in the series. Although the Bruins do not see the loss as the end of the world, they know there is a certain sense of urgency to win a game before heading to Montreal.
"We have to understand we have to bounce back in the next game," Julien said. "It's as simple as that. In the playoffs you have to have a short memory. You have to be able to turn the page quickly and bounce back and be ready and focused for the next game."
"We don't want to go to Montreal down 2-0," Marchand said. 'We're going to have to come out hard. They're not going to let it come easy, we have to make sure we're ready. It's a big game for us."
