Seidenberg, Redden Will Travel To NY, Remain Day-To-Day
BOSTON (CBS) - Bruins defensemen Dennis Seidenberg and Wade Redden were back on the ice at practice on Monday, and both will travel with the team to New York as Boston continues their playoff series against the Rangers on Tuesday.
The two appear to be getting closer to a return after missing the first two games of the series, but head coach Claude Julien said a decision on his two veteran blue-liners won't be made until Tuesday prior to Game 3.

"He's getting closer," Julien said of Seidenberg. "Whether it's the next game or not, we'll see how he feels tomorrow"
Redden was a game-time decision on Sunday before sitting out the team's 5-2 victory. He'll have that same status Tuesday in New York, but said on Monday he's progressing towards a return.
"It's been a day-to-day thing, so we'll just keep treating it that way," Redden said after practice. "I've been able to do more every day so it's been positive."

"We'll decide tomorrow and go from there," he said. "It would be great to be playing, but you have to do everything you can to rehab."
The Bruins have received some stellar play from rookie defensemen Torey Krug, Matt Bartkowski and Dougie Hamilton with Seidenberg, Redden and Andrew Ference's absent with injuries. That will make for a tough decision for Julien should one or two of his injured vets returns, but the coach isn't thinking that far ahead -- or at least that's what he's telling the media.

"The best thing to do is cross that bridge once you get to it," the coach said. "To prognosticate about it right now is a lot of wasted time where I could be putting it on different areas of our game. When that time comes, whether it's tomorrow morning or whatever, I'll be ready to make the decision. That's what they want me to do as a coach and that's what I keep doing, whether it's right or wrong."
It looks like Hamilton would be the likely candidate to sit should Seidenberg and/or Redden return. While Krug and Bartkowski have made big impacts with their opportunities, the 19-year-old Hamilton has struggled at times, and finished a minus-2 in Sunday's win.
Ference was the only Bruins not to practice on Monday.
