Bruins Re-Sign Thornton
NESN is reporting that the Boston Bruins have re-signed forward Shawn Thornton to a 2 year contract extention and the team will have an official announcement on the move later today. Thornton scored 1 goal, had a total of 10 points and ammassed a team high 141 penalty minutes during this past regular season. He will turn 33 years old in July and will be entering his 4th season with the Bruins.
