Bruins Practice Notes: Recchi Gets Day Off
WILMINGTON (CBS) - The Boston Bruins hit the practice ice at Ristuccia Arena before heading to Montreal for Tuesday night's matchup with the Canadiens. Here are a couple quick notes from Monday morning's skate.
-Andrew Ference and Steven Kampfer were both absent and will not play against Montreal. Ferrence has missed the last four games with a lower-body injury and is considered day-to-day. Kampfer will miss the next week with a mild concussion, and said he still experiences the occasional headache.
-Mark Recchi was given a personal day and was not at practice, but is expected to join the team in Canada.
-Patrice Bergeron was back on the ice after missing the last couple days due to a family issue.
-Bruins coach Claude Julien does not expect there to be as many fireworks as the last time the Bruins and Canadiens met up in Boston, when the teams combined for 187 penalty minutes.

Milan Lucic on the other hand, did not dismiss the chance of a few punches being thrown.
"I don't know, we'll have to see," the Bruins forward said with a smile.
