Bruins Playoff Preps Begin: Thomas Not Dressing Against Penguins
BOSTON (CBS) - Netminder Tim Thomas will get Tuesday night off, and for the first time all season will not dress for the Boston Bruins.
Marty Turco will get the start between the pipes against the Pittsburgh Penguins at the Garden Tuesday night, with recent Providence call up Anton Khudobin backing him up.
For the Bruins, the postseason resting period has begun.
Boston clinched the Northeast division Sunday with their 2-1 win over the New York Rangers, and will use the final three games of the regular season to rest up their stars and get some younger players some NHL experience.

One of those younger players that will see time Tuesday night is defenseman Torey Krug, who signed with the team last Sunday out of Michigan State. Krug led the team in their morning stretch, and will make his NHL debut against Pittsburgh.
Krug will likely skate in place of defenseman Adam McQuaid, who will not play for the third straight game after suffering a swollen eye against the Washington Capitals last Thursday. McQuaid did skate with the team Tuesday morning, sporting a visor.
