Paille Not Playing In Game 4, But 'Moving In Right Direction'
BOSTON (CBS) -- Bruins forward Daniel Paille won't play in Thursday night's Game 4 in Detroit, but he is getting close to making a return.
Paille was cleared for practice and on the ice for Boston's morning skate, and while head coach Claude Julien said the fourth-line winger isn't ready to return to game action, he said Paille is "moving in the right direction."
Paille also skated in Boston's option practice on Wednesday, wearing a green no-contact jersey.
The best news from Thursday is that Paille, who suffered a head injury on April 12, has been cleared for some contact. And though he didn't take part in any line rushes, his participation in the skate (which was mostly stick-handling in the neutral zone) is a big step towards his return to Boston's "merlot line."
No update was given on injured forward Chris Kelly, who has been sidelined since April 8 with a back injury.
With both Paille and Kelly out for Thursday night's Game 4 at Joe Louis Arena in Detroit, the Bruins' lines remained the same at their morning practice:

Brad Marchand -- Patrice Bergeron -- Reilly Smith

The Red Wings, who trail Boston 2-1 in the series, announced Thursday morning that forward Henrik Zetterberg will be a game-time decision and likely play in Game 4.
