Thomas: 'Hopefully, We'll Be Coming Back With A Couple Of Victories'
BOSTON (CBS) – The Boston Bruins left for Vancouver Monday afternoon after a morning skate at the TD Garden.
Thousands of fans came out dressed in black and gold to see them off as they left in buses for Hanscom Air Field in Bedford.

"I appreciate it. It's hot and muggy and I'm sure they're feeling it too. Hopefully, we'll be coming back with a couple of victories under our belt," goalie Tim Thomas told WBZ-TV's Jim Armstrong.

"It's been a long time coming for the fans here. It's great to see the turnout," Bruins president Cam Neely told WBZ-TV's Dan Roche.
"The support's been great the last few years. I know there's a deep history with this fan base in hockey in this region and New England in general. It's been a treat. These guys have deserved it for a long, long time, so, you know, we've got four more to go here."

Game One of the Stanley Cups Finals is Wednesday night.
The Stanley Cup Finals don't come to Boston until next Monday, June 6.
Tickets for Games 3, 4 and 6 at the Garden will go on sale Tuesday starting at 11 a.m.
