Bruins Honored At Gillette Stadium
FOXBORO (CBS) – The Boston Bruins had one last time with the Stanley Cup Trophy, showing it off in front of the Gillette Stadium crowd on Sunday before the Patriots took on the New York Jets.
"This should be the last time with our team going around with the Stanley Cup," head coach Claude Julien said at practice Sunday morning. "This is where we really turn the page."
After raising their banner on Thursday night, the Bruins had one final chance to bask in the glory of being defending champions.

Tim Thomas got his own introduction, followed by Captain Zdeno Chara who held the Stanley Cup above his head, an image Boston fans have become very familiar with.

The rest of the team joined them, jumping around like football players on the field.
Once on the field, the Bruins traded in their normal black and gold jersey's for Patriots ones with their names and numbers on them.

Along with the three Super Bowl trophies, Gillette Stadium is no stranger to championship hardware. Both of the Red Sox World Series trophies were shown off before a Patriots game in 2004 and 2007.
