Bruins Gear Going Fast, But Watch Out For Counterfeiters
BOSTON (CBS) - It's the hottest gear in town, if you can get your hands on it.
Boston Bruins jerseys, t-shirts, ball caps are available. As fast as retailers can stock their shelves, B's fans are snatching up everything they can.
At Modell's Sporting Goods in Newton Thursday morning, fans were only allowed to buy two hats per person to make sure there were enough to go around.

At Saturday's parade, you can expect to see plenty of unauthorized vendors selling knock-offs and counterfeit Bruins gear. That's something the NHL works hard to stop.

"There's lots of entrepreneurs out there and they all want to make a buck on the fact that the Bruins are popular right now," said Thomas Taylor, a brand security expert.
Counterfeit Bruins gear will likely look and feel like it's of lower quality than the real stuff.
If it's legitimate, it should have an official hologram sticker on it, showing it's been authorized by the league.
