Bruins Collecting 'Toys For Tots' At Home Games In December
BOSTON (CBS) - The Boston Bruins are asking fans to help make sure children in need have some happy holidays.
The Bruins will be collecting new, unwrapped toys through the US Marine Corps "Toys for Tots" program during their home games throughout December.
The first collection will be held on Saturday when the Bruins host the Toronto Maple Leafs at 7:00 pm. Each of the collections will be held at the TD Garden entrance turnstiles beginning at 6 p.m.
All Bruins fans choosing to donate will receive a raffle ticket for a chance to win Bruins autographed memorabilia including a team-autographed jersey, a team-autographed stick, photo and puck.
The additional December collection dates include Thursday, December 8; Tuesday, December 13; Monday, December 19 and Friday, December 23.
