Bruins Chara Named All-Star Captain
BOSTON (CBS) –Boston Bruins captain Zdeno Chara will have some extra responsibility over All-Star weekend this year.
Chara, along with Ottawa's Daniel Alfredsson, were named captains for the two All-Star squads, and will get to pick their teams Thursday January 26.

Big Z will get a chance to add a pair of Bruins to "Team Chara," with both Tim Thomas and Tyler Seguin joining him in Ottawa for the January 29 exhibition.
Chara leads all NHL defensemen with a plus/minus of +25.
