Bruins Bergeron: Winning Is All That Matters
BOSTON (CBS) - Patrice Bergeron and the Bruins are enjoying some quiet time in Lake Placid, New York as they get ready for Thursday night's Game four against the Montreal Canadiens.
"If you like to read a book, it's the perfect place to read them," Bergeron told 98.5 The Sports Hub's Gresh & Zolak on Wednesday.
Of course, with the Bruins down 2-1 in the series, there is plenty of focus on Game four.
"I think the next game is always the most important of a series," the six-year veteran said.

The Bruins jumped out to a 3-0 lead in Game three, their first lead of the series, but allowed the Canadiens to inch back with a pair of third-period goals. Although the B's were able to win their first game of the series 4-2, there is still plenty to improve on while in upstate New York.
"(We have to) keep making plays. We can't just sit back and wait for them to come at us," Bergeron said. "They made some good plays because of that. We kind of stopped forechecking for a bit and they came back. But I thought we stayed composed and found a way to get that win and that's all that matters in the playoffs."
"I think we allowed them to come out of their zone with too much speed," Bergeron said of the Canadiens. "For us, we were flat-footed too many times. We're going to work on that getting ready for tomorrow."
Bergeron, who is tied for the team lead with three postseason points, also talked about how the team plans on beating Montreal goaltender Carey Price, who has stopped 86 of the 90 shots the Bruins have sent his way.

"He's a pretty square butterfly goalie and down low he's pretty quick," Bergeron said. "Going high on him is always a good play. I think having some traffic, he struggles with guys in front of him. Obviously (we have to find) a way to get those rebounds."
