Bruins Announce Preseason Schedule, Highlighted By Trip To Quebec City To Face Canadiens
BOSTON (CBS) -- Though the Stanley Cup Final between the Sharks and Penguins has just begun, the Boston Bruins are already well on to next year.
The Bruins on Tuesday released their preseason schedule for 2016, a seven-game slate that's spotlighted by a trip to Quebec City to take on the Montreal Canadiens.
The two teams played a preseason game in Quebec City in 2009, with the Bruins winning 2-1.
Though Canadiens fans will likely be well-represented in Quebec City, it also represents a homecoming for Patrice Bergeron, who's likely to receive a warm welcome from his hometown.
In addition to the Quebec City game, the Bruins will play two games apiece against Philadelphia, Detroit and Columbus.
