Campbell Done For Playoffs With Broken Fibula
BOSTON (CBS) - After a valiant, herculean effort on a broken leg in Game 3 of the Eastern Conference Finals, Gregory Campbell's season is officially over.
Boston Bruins General Manager Peter Chiarelli announced Thursday morning that the forward will miss the remainder of the 2013 Stanley Cup playoffs due to a broken right fibula.

Campbell was injured during the second period of Boston's 2-1, double overtime win over the Pittsburgh Penguins Wednesday night, but remained on the ice for over a minute as his team killed off a Pittsburgh power play.
"That's the kind of player he is," head coach Claude Julien said of Campbell on Thursday. "He's a real dedicated individual to his work and to his game, from off ice, to on ice, to taking care of himself, demeanor, everything else. What he did yesterday surprised a lot of people but it didn't surprise us because that's just who he is; stay in there and make sure he finishes his shift. As a coach you probably wish he would have stayed down, but that's not his job."
"I spoke to him after the game and again this morning, and it's tough, it's really tough to say anything to a player who's put so much into the game and commitment and everything else and what he means to our team," said Julien. "To me he's been as fierce as he could be despite what's happened to him, and he's one of those guys that really wants our team to do well, and he's certainly not going to let guys down by feeling sorry for himself."
