Bruins A Relaxed Bunch Before Game 1
BOSTON (CBS) - The Boston Bruins are just a few hours away from Game 1 of the Stanley Cup Finals, but they are still a very relaxed bunch.
"I feel really relaxed and ready to enjoy it," defenseman Andrew Ference said from the teams hotel in Vancouver. "I think we have a lot of guys in the same mindset. I think this playoffs has been a good prep for the finals because we had a lot of emotional series; Montreal, the redemption against the Flyers, a tough series against the Tampa. It was all good practice to deal with some pretty big games."
Assistant captain Patrice Bergeron said he was feeling a few nerves, but it is not the worst thing in the world.
"It's a good thing," said Bergeron, who leads the Bruins with 11 postseason assists. "You have to make sure you use it to help you. But yeah, I'd be lying if I said there were no nerves right now."

The Bruins did not have a morning skate Wednesday morning, which is not normal for them. The B's will look to build off their Game 7 victory against the Tampa Bay Lightning five days ago, when they played a very crisp and near perfect game to a 1-0 win.
"That's the way we have to approach each and every game," said Bergeron. "Playing our way, our style, our system."
"We played great in Game 7, if we play the same way through seven games or however many games its going to take, we have a good chance at winning," added defenseman Johnny Boychuk.
