Brown, Warren Debate For Second Time Tonight
BOSTON (AP) — Republican U.S. Sen. Scott Brown and his Democratic challenger, Elizabeth Warren, are preparing for their second televised debate in the hotly contested Senate race.
The debate is scheduled for Monday night at the University of Lowell and is co-sponsored by the school and the Boston Herald.
Brown and Warren are locked in a tight and expensive race.
Brown won the seat in a 2010 special election following the death of longtime Democratic U.S. Sen. Edward Kennedy.
The contest is already the costliest political race in Massachusetts history and is being closely watched by both parties as they wrangle for control of the Senate.
