Brown On Bin Laden Death: 'Great Day For America'
BOSTON (AP) -- Massachusetts Sen. Scott Brown is calling the death of Osama bin Laden "a great day for America."
The Republican said in a statement that the mastermind of the Sept. 11, 2001 terrorist attacks "has finally gotten what he deserves."
Democratic Sen. John Kerry, Chairman of the Foreign Relations Committee, said bin Laden's death closes a chapter in the nation's war against extremists, but warned that the death does not end the threat and that the nation must remain vigilant.
