Brookline Special Needs Teacher's Aide Faces Child Porn Charges
BROOKLINE (CBS) - A teacher's aide for special needs students at Brookline High School has been arrested on child pornography charges.
Police are charging Benjamin Schwartz, 32, with possession of child pornography and dissemination of obscene matter.
Schwartz began working in the Brookline school system in 2002 and has worked at the high school since 2004.
However, he has been on medical leave since October, which the school department says is unrelated.
The school department says it plans to take whatever appropriate action is necessary.
