Brockton Widow Hopes Thief Will Return Picture Memory Cards
BROCKTON (CBS) -- Julie Enos needs pictures.
Specifically, she is looking for the hundreds and hundreds of photos on two memory cards that she kept in a bag in her car.
Photos are the only things that the Brockton mother of two can show her two sons - the only memories of their father, John, who was killed in a one-car accident last Valentine's Day on his way home from work.
"It's been a horrible, horrible year," Enos explained. "I can't believe this is what our life turned into."
She was three-and-a-half months pregnant with son Anthony when John was killed; son Jayce was three.
"I've always taken pictures of everything. Everything is documented by pictures," Enos said.

On Sunday morning, Julie took Jayce to a birthday party at Monster Golf, along busy Route One in Norwood. They were inside for just 90 minutes, but she came out to find her passenger front window was smashed. Thieves stole her GPS and some other valuables. Worst of all, they nabbed that black bag that contained her digital camera and those two memory cards.
Enos asked a friend to check around and see if any of her stuff turned up near Monster Golf. The friend found the black bag was in a dumpster - but someone had taken the camera out.
Enos' older son asks for his dad all the time, she says, "because he's four years old and he doesn't understand that he's gone forever. When he asks for daddy, I'll show him a picture."
Now, with hundreds of those pictures are gone, Enos is desperately hoping someone saw something, anything, that'll lead back to her photos. She is wondering if there are witnesses who saw someone throw a bag into the dumpsters next to Building 19 on Route One on Sunday morning. There is also a chance that the camera and cards might show up at a local pawn shop.
"In that camera is all of our pictures of the last two and a half years. So I just really need to get them back for the boys and for me."
