Brockton Teen Hides, Calls Police During Violent Home Invasion
BROCKTON (CBS) - The brave actions of a 16-year-old Brockton girl, may have saved the life of her brother and put two armed men behind bars.
The teenager is still fearful of her safety, but said, "I didn't want to panic, because then I would've had to come out of hiding and that would do no one any good."

It was Friday night, when police say two men, Quentin McDonald and Steve Madison broke into the home in North Brockton. They were apparently looking for money and were armed with a gun and a knife.
The 16-year-old was asleep, and woke to hear the men shouting. She hid in her closet and called 911, telling the dispatcher that the police should come without sirens and lights flashing. They did, and caught the two men inside, but not before they terrorized the family.
They allegedly severely pistol-whipped the girl's 26-year-old brother and held a knife to the throat of her 74-year-old grandmother.
When District Judge Ron Moynihan heard the details of the event, he ordered the two suspects to be held on one-million dollars cash bail each.
