Students Hospitalized After Pepper Spray Incident At Brockton School

BROCKTON (CBS) – Multiple students were hospitalized Friday morning after a key chain mace container was discharged inside a Brockton charter school.

Ambulances were called to New Heights Charter School on Main Street before 10:30 a.m.

The school was evacuated following the incident.

Four students were taken to an area hospital as a precaution.

The front doors to the school were propped open to ventilate the building.

Firefighters and police remained on scene for about an hour.
