12 Residents Displaced By 2-Alarm Brockton House Fire
BROCKTON (CBS) -- A two-alarm fire at a Brockton multi-family home Thursday has displaced a dozen residents.
The fire broke out around 6:30 p.m. at the Crescent Street house. Firefighters were able to knock down the blaze quickly.
The deputy fire chief says the fire appears to have started near a porch, adding that it doesn't appear to be suspicious.
A man suffered cuts to his hand, but no other injuries were reported.
Seven adults and five kids were displaced and will be staying with the American Red Cross Thursday night.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
