British Airways Flight Forced To Return To Logan
BOSTON (CBS) – A flight from Boston to London was forced to turn back to Logan Airport Monday morning because of a report of smoke in the cockpit.
British Airways Flight 9608 landed safely at 8:16 a.m. No one was hurt.
Massport spokesman Phil Orlandella told WBZ-TV there was oil leaking from the air conditioning system.
The plane was evacuated and did not return to the gate.
